Project Hellas
Laurence Ewashko, conductor
Project Hellas is a musical extravaganza, based on the history of
Greece, involving classical and popular music as well as dance,
including over 150 costumes, 50 images, ranging from a traditional
Greek wedding to the shopping agoras of the Greek islands.
Proceeds of the performance will be distributed to the CHEO
Foundation, the Multiple Sclerosis Society (Ottawa Chapter), and
the University of Ottawa's Heart Institute.

One of the world’s leading Baroque specialists, Trevor Pinnock, the
former Artistic Director of the NAC Orchestra and former patron of
the Cantata Singers of Ottawa, returns to lead his first Messiah
with the National Arts Centre Orchestra since 1994.
